Reflection Prompt on Yellowdig
Write about anything that resonated with you in the assigned readings and media, while trying to connect your findings to experiences in your educational practices.
OR Guided reflection prompts
What barriers and successes have you experienced in the transition to online learning? Did you feel prepared to design an online course? Were you able to reach out and support students? What parts of online learning do your students especially enjoy?
You can make an audio recording, write up your reflection, or use images and symbols in your reflection. Length: However long or short feels bests for you. Suggested length: 300-500 words.
UDL in Action: Choose one or two engagement tools from Ferrero’s article. Reflect on how you could implement them in your classroom and how you think they may foster engagement. If you have already used one of these tools, you are invited to share your experience using them. Did students seem more engaged?
You may express your thoughts in written work, a video, a PowerPoint or by using any other tool that can help you best express your thoughts.
